1. What Writeoff does

Writeoff helps you sort mixed personal and business spending into federal Schedule C tax write-offs. We categorize, match, and score your transactions. You make every final decision.

2. Not tax advice

Writeoff provides suggestions based on patterns in your data, not tax advice. You make the final call on every transaction. We are not a substitute for a licensed tax professional.

3. Federal Schedule C only

This tool covers federal Schedule C reporting only. State and local tax rules vary. Check with a tax professional for your state and local requirements.

4. Your data

Your documents are processed to sort your expenses. They are never used to train AI models. You can delete all your data at any time from Settings.

5. Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We use secure authentication and encrypt your data in transit and at rest.

6. Pricing

Writeoff is a one-time purchase per tax year. You can upload and preview your found total for free. Payment is required to export the full package.
